Abstract
In the aftermath of the global financial market “meltdown” we are in for a period of change and volatility wholly unanticipated when the current portfolios of Private Equity investments were transacted. How PE firms react to the changes and manage the transition with their investee businesses will strongly influence the pecking order when the market finally emerges from the crisis.
