Summary of Most Recent Maintenance Results
At one site all three levers of downtime were tackled, resulting
in a 58% reduction in downtime from the baseline (average
of past 12 months). This was done in the last year of a 5
year campaign life

At a second site unplanned maintenance and operations downtime
were tackled, resulting in a 53% reduction in downtime from
the baseline (average of past 12 months).
At company A, maintenance spend was reduced by 37% and capital
spend by 14%, whilst concurrently increasing availability
and reliability to deliver a 20% production increase

At company B, maintenance spend was held constant, whilst
concurrently increasing availability and reliability to deliver
a 35% production increase

At company C, maintenance spend was reduced by 12% and capital
spend by 44%, whilst concurrently increasing availability
and reliability to deliver a 25% production increase

Maintenance Spend: PIP has helped smelters to reduce maintenance
spend by up to 37% even when production increasing
